Program Objective
This grant program was created to prevent tragedies like the Résidence du Havre in L’Isle-Verte (2014), where 32 people lost their lives.

Extended compliance deadline

Increased grant amounts
- Sections 1 (sprinkler installation) and 2 (municipal water connection) are now combined.
- Section 3 (installation of an independent water supply system or correction of low water pressure) is increased to $300,000.

Who Can Apply?
You are eligible if:
- Your RPA is certified by the MSSS (or holds a temporary certificate)
- Your building has no sprinkler system, has a partial system, or has a non-compliant sprinkler system
What the Grant Covers
- Purchase and installation of fire sprinklers
- Required structural, plumbing, and electrical work for integration
- Installation of a wet pipe sprinkler system or, in some cases, a dry pipe sprinkler system (depending on building conditions)
