Government Grant for Fire Sprinkler Installation in Private Seniors’ Residences (RPA) – Quebec 2025 Update
Learn how to receive up to 100% funding for installing or upgrading fire sprinklers in your private seniors’ residence (RPA) in Quebec. Guard-X Fire Protection guides you every step of the way to ensure resident safety and full regulatory compliance.

Do you operate a private seniors’ residence (RPA) in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, or anywhere in Quebec?
Good news: you can still qualify for a government grant to cover the installation of fire sprinklers or the upgrade of your existing system.
At Guard-X Fire Protection, we handle every step to make your residence safe and compliant: from installing and servicing fire sprinklers to performing fire alarm system inspections, along with the maintenance of fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
All our work strictly complies with NFPA, ULC standards, and the Quebec Safety Code.
Program Objective
This grant program was created to prevent tragedies like the Résidence du Havre in L’Isle-Verte (2014), where 32 people lost their lives.
Automatic fire sprinklers are designed to activate automatically and locally when heat from a fire is detected, ensuring fast control of the blaze while minimizing water damage.
